Society sponsors Virginia's largest Hamfest and State ARRL Convention
each year as a service to hams from all over the region!

Location: The Richmond Raceway Complex 
This year we are
moving to the Richmond Raceway Complex! Join us for a FANTASTIC
hamfest in a new, much nicer facility. We have a separate building
for forums and meetings, 2 buildings filled with vendors and hams
just like you selling the finest in amateur radio "stuff" anywhere
around!

ONE OF YOU HELPED TO MAKE THIS YEAR'S FROSTFEST ONE OFTHE BEST EVER!
This year's Frostfest featureD:
Austin Amateur Radio is back! Bob Bruninga, WB4APR,
and inventor of APRS will be speaking, and bringing his solar-powered
field day power supply - a 10Kw Toyota Prius! There will be VE Testing,
Commercial Vendors, Brian Bayus, N1KC will be DXCC Card
Checking, 300+ Tables of Flea Marketers, hourly Door Prizes including
a $1000 Grand Prize (drawn at 11:00am), drive-in loading, nearly 12 hours
of set up time on Friday, Forums -
all day long - everything from APRS to MARS to AMSAT to K-9 SAR, meeting
space for groups, RV camping, excellent
access to interstates, and nearby motels!
